Announcement of Executive Director candidate

After much searching and prayer the PNA Board of Directors is excited to share with you all that we have found a candidate we believe God is calling into the role of our next Executive Director. On Monday of this week, Frank Borst accepted the Board’s offer for the position of Provisional Executive Director. The PNA General Assembly has the opportunity to meet, get to know, and then ratify him as the Executive Director at the Annual Meeting at PNA Connect. (As per section 3.3.1 of the PNA bylaws, the selection of the Executive Director shall require an affirmative vote of 2/3 of the PNA voting membership at a regular or special meeting called for that purpose.)

Frank is a devout Christian with significant senior executive experience both within the church and outside of it, in both for- and non-profit sectors. He was previously the executive pastor of a large church in California before recently moving to the Pacific Northwest. Frank and his wife, Debbie, have two grown sons. He enjoys fitness, the outdoors, music, and is a published amateur photographer. Frank is incredibly relational, a great vision-caster, and an excellent communicator. These and his many other qualities will be great assets to our district but it is his genuine heart for growing the Kingdom of God and supporting the local church in this work that excite us the most about his leadership in the PNA.

At PNA Connect, there will be ample opportunity to get to know Frank in casual small group conversations; but in addition, the Board and Committee will introduce and present Frank to the Assembly. Frank will share with us some of his story, his heart, and his vision for the PNA, and then we’ll hold a question and answer period with Frank, the Search Committee chair, and the PNA Board chair. As always, please email me at gryphon@pnwti.org if you have any questions about anything.
